Application of a series of technologies for smelting waste acid treatment and resource recovery
This technology has been applied in Zhuzhou Smelting Group, which has a waste acid scale of 576 m3/d and uses waste acid with a concentration of approximately 5%-8%. The resource recovery treatment is carried out using the process of "enhanced gas-liquid vulcanization for arsenic and heavy metal removal from waste acid + electrodialysis for selective separation and acid concentration + evaporation and stripping + separation of fluorine and chlorine salts". After the waste acid is selectively separated and concentrated by electrodialysis, the acidity of the concentrated acid is greater than 10%, and the acid recovery rate is greater than 90%. At the same time, 70% of the water resources in the original waste acid solution are recovered at one time. The recovered water resources have low acidity (pH about 3) and few impurity ions (trace heavy metals), and can be returned to the system for recycling. This project recovers 6,500 tons of sulfuric acid annually and reduces waste residue emissions by 11,437 tons per year.
